Yucheng (Renee) Jiang

ASSOCIATE

Renee is a civil litigation associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Renee was an associate at a reputable New York City labour and employment boutique, where she appeared before tribunals including the New York State Supreme Court, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings. She also presented at and contributed to conferences for building trade unions and senior executives.

 

Renee graduated from Fordham University School of Law in New York City, where she was a Notes and Articles Editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and received the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award, magna cum laude. She completed a one-year judicial internship for a New York State Supreme Court judge, as well as legal internships at a United Nations agency, a public interest organization advancing social and economic justice, and other law firms on impact investing and labour and employment matters.

 

Renee was the First Place Winner in the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law and College of Labor and Employment Lawyers’ Annual Law Student Writing Competition for 2022 and Honorable Mention in the American Society of Law, Medicine & Ethics’s Second Annual Health Law and Anti-Racism Graduate Student Writing Competition. Her award-winning paper has been published by the Fordham Urban Law Journal (Vol. 50: Iss. 1, Article 5 (2022)) and the Journal of Law, Medicine & Ethics (Vol. 51: Iss. 1, 185-195 (2023)).

 

Prior to law school, Renee served as Digital Marketing Manager for the New York Philharmonic. She holds an M.A. from New York University and a B.A. from the University of Huddersfield, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

 

Renee is a member of The Advocates’ Society.

 

Called to the Ontario bar in 2024; admitted to the New York bar in 2023.
