Cristina Borbely

ASSOCIATE

Cristina is a civil litigation associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP.

 

Cristina has experience in complex corporate/commercial litigation, regulatory and criminal matters, as well as conducting and advising on both internal investigations and workplace investigations. Cristina obtained the Osgoode Advanced Certificate in Workplace Investigations in 2023.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Cristina practiced at a leading international firm and a leading corporate and securities litigation boutique in Toronto.

 

Cristina obtained her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. While at law school, Cristina was a member of the 2018 Allard team for the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, bringing home the First Place Memorial Prize. She was also involved with the University of British Columbia Law Review as an associate editor.

 

In her third year of law school, Cristina participated in the Corporate Counsel Externship with a national telecommunications company, where she assisted in-house counsel with corporate governance matters.

 

Prior to law school, Cristina obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto (with high distinction), where she studied international relations. Cristina is proficient in French, Spanish, and Hungarian.

 

Cristina is a member of The Advocates’ Society and the Criminal Lawyers’ Association.

 

Called to the Ontario bar in 2020.
