Justine is a civil litigation associate at Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP. She has represented clients before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as in mediations and arbitrations.
Prior to joining Henein Hutchison Robitaille LLP, Justine worked as a litigation associate at the Toronto headquarters of an international law firm. From May 2023 to February 2024, Justine completed a part-time secondment as in-house litigation counsel for a Toronto-based electricity distribution company.
Justine obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba. She placed amongst the top ten individuals in her class during each year of law school, earning her a position on the Dean’s Honour List from 2015 to 2017. She was also awarded the D.A. Thompson Q.C. Prize and the Aikins, MacAulay & Thorvaldson Honourable Marshall Rothstein Prize for the highest standing in constitutional law, the Bereskin & Parr Prize for the highest standing in intellectual property law, and the Manitoba Law Journal Prize. Justine also received awards for her oral advocacy in both the Harold G. Fox Moot and the Robson Hall Negotiations Competition. In her second year of law school, Justine was one of four students selected to complete a course clerkship with the Manitoba Court of Appeal.
Justine is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, LEAF Toronto Branch, The Advocates’ Society and Women in eDiscovery (Toronto Branch).
